Following Production Management at the Roundhouse I was offered a placement assisting the Technical team in the get in, get out, and festival production where I witnessed first-hand what it meant to put together and take apart 13 venues from scratch.
Daily responsibilities included:

Delivering notices to Assembly Venue Crew
-
Organising casual workers for get in/get out

Minute-taking when meeting with Edinburgh Council
-
Organising Venue Assets
-
Assistant Stage Managing in various venues

General admin/office work assisting Technical Administrator
Assembly are committed to programming and producing exceptional international work, which meant I was able to meet artists and learn about their practices, especially when put under the pressure-cooker that is the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

In 18 hours, four colleagues put together the trailer parks and diner of Twin Peaks, Washington, in the upstairs of Riverside Studios, London,
With a props budget of £100 and one day to create the design, we executed and delivered a unique gathering that immersed audience with stars from the series who talked about their time and met fans for autographs, coffee, and donuts, but not after witnessing the David Lynchian Burlesque of The Double R Club.
Oracle #cloudworld Event
ExCel London - by Smyle
Registration Host
I did my first corporate event this past May with Oracle, run by Smyle Event Management and Production. As Registration host I checked in all clients including speakers and the President of Oracle, was a point of contact for the Stage Management team to the clients and Smyle Team, and made sure all sessions and plenaries started on time by coordinating clients around the venue.

"Even though the client appeared to be quite stressed at times, because you were your usual professional calm self, we have had excellent feedback!"
